I’ve worked with artists like Miyavi, Machine Head, Blessthefall, and Vinyl Theater among many many others. I typically mix and master up to 60 songs a month! I’m also the co-founder of both Drumforge, a premium quality virtual drum instrument, and the URM Academy, which is educating the next generation of audio professionals.

After many years of mixing, I came to realize that the fundamentals are the most important element to master. If you master the fundamentals, you will become a much stronger mixer. Over 2 years of judging Nait The Mix competitions has taught me that balancing is the MOST struggled with part of mixing for many of our students.

In this Fast Track, I break down balance for you and present it in a way that is engaging, and will inspire you to think with the correct mindset to deliver consistent and powerful mixes. Once you understand the tradeoffs, balancing doesn’t need to be difficult.
